This is my model 37 12 Ga my spouse baught me as a gift. Wasnt to sure what year it was so we found the serial number and went to Ithaca website and found it to be a 1947. This is my first Ithaca and to be honest it has to be the best shooting gun I have every own. Shes one great lady to go out and find this this shotgun. Hope everyone ejoys the pics.

I finally got to see it !

By the way, welcome over here. There are lots of cool folks hanging around this joint that like Ithacas and won't tell you to chop it, modify it, and otherwise deface it and expect it to not lose any value !

Be prepared though. They do seem to reproduce themselves. One goes in the safe, the next time you look there is another one in there, that seemingly appeared by magic.

The next thing you know, you will be getting the hots for a 16ga.

To late I already have the hots for the 16ga and the 20ga absolutly love the gun. No there will be no choping modify. Thanks for the site drcook

I always say to people who want to chop up their Ithaca's. I don't recommend it, but OK, just please don't be surprised if you never get your money back should you decide to sell it.

Yes she does she put alot of thought into it, shes watched me over the past few months and listend to my likes and dislike. I like the round forearm, wood stock and forearm.....the sythetic or plastic just doesnt do it for me.
