I got tired of this crap and went to Wal-Mart last week and bought a Daisy 880 power line pellet rifle.
Grandson coming out from the city needed something to shoot and there has been a cotton tail hanging around my garden. Plenty of pellets and plenty of poop for the cotton tail.

I bought a Crossman last year, and want to move up to an RWS side cocker I think. If there's something better, I'm open to suggestions.

I have a Gamo Whisper and the thing is a beast. YOu break it open to cock and load it and it is deadly accurate.

What model, Jim? I've been looking at RWS, some Gamo's, and Beeman's. I much prefer .22 over .177 though.

I also own a GAMO in .177... the Whisper. The suppressor is great for not scaring the critters you are shooting at...and the only sound you hear is the varmint dropping. It comes with the 3-9 power scope...I drop squirrels and chipmunks in my backyard all the time...head shots !!
