Slugs for XL900
Posted: Wed Sep 02, 2015 8:57 amI was given a XL900 from my father in law and I was wondering if you could shoot slugs through the stock barrel. If any one could give me some advice I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Most folks say you can shoot foster type slugs out of any barrel but I personally would hesitate to shoot one out of a full choke barrel. I don't believe the XL900 ever came with a fully riffled barrel so sabot slugs would do you no good.

Posted: Thu Sep 03, 2015 9:30 pmI believe its the 28" barrel I do not know how these are choked down. I was thinking of using it to go deer hunting with it. Are these barrels a full choke?
