I talked to Ithaca and they told me not to expect the Phoenix or probably the Larrabee until the end of the year. They have literally thousands of orders to fill right now and are working like crazy to make sure they get filled before they open a new product line. Believe me, they understand how everyone feels and really want to get them out into the public. So please be patient and save your nickels. if I hear anything different I will let you all know.

OH, DARN!
The Phoenix will be the first truly new gun that I have bought in a while. Guess I'll have to find me a few more SxS's to play with for now.
A flash in the pan, a puff of smoke, and a prayer to the great Lord on high...

I know Skeeter, I have a number of very disappointed customers. I could sell a bunch of them right now.

Does Ithaca have a "Waiting List" for the P-Bird I can get on? Place a deposit? Pre-purchase at guaranteed price? No need to answer...I already know. But they should think about it.

After fondling the prototypes of the Phoenix and Larrabee, first at the Ohio state shoot, and then at the gathering, I'm drooling even more!
And what's even worse - the wife wants one of each, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it helps you any BP I got to shoot trap at the gathering with the Larabe, both the standard grade and the one of a kind Sousa grade engraved by Bill Mains. They were nice, real nice.

And for the record, the $30,000+ Sousa grade did shoot better, lol.
