found one today in my LGS
how common are the English stocks on them?

one followed me home today .
its used but solid ,no case coloring left but the barrel and wood are in good shape, the ivory is there.
only thing missing is the hardware to release the beavertail forearm.

i'm not sure why I have it ,I only was looking for RF ammo and it has no hunting use.
what do they avg on the open market?

You don't see them very often, but they are usually "affordable" when you find them. I bought mine roughly 18 years ago for about $700 as I recall. Mine is complete but like yours little in the way of case color left. It also has later Pachmayer recoil pad and a brass front and middle bead. I have only seen them with english stocks, never noticed one with a pistol grip.

ok they pretty much look the same ,if i'm not mistaken mine comes in at 1918.V2905xx
my wood is a bit dirty but dosent look as fancy as yours does .
I did however still have the ivory front and bid bead .the pad is old but still soft ithaca labeled pad but I find it hard to believe its a 98yr original.

really the only thing missing is the metal for the forgrip latch.
I walked out with it for $500 ,so I didn't loose my lunch on an impulse buy

btw
right next to it on the shelf was an Ithaca/skb century sbt.
was a nice looking gun ,much fancier then the victory, however the action wasn't tight.
not just a strait lever , but also shake loose.

both were consignments so I figure the same guy owned both
