Bought an nice "New Ithaca Field Grade" double, 12 gauge, with original Ithaca recoil pad, ejectors and single selective trigger. Last two were options at the time it was new in 1927. It will take the place of my Dad's old Tobin 12. Nice old shotgun. It's not perfect, but for its age, it looks pretty good. Crack on each side of tang are repaired. Butt pad is still soft. Ejectors work with authority.

Sn: 4500xx

The old thing has been used, no doubt, but cared for. This gun will be my "chicken gun."

A CGN member pointed out that the butt pad on my shotgun wasn't actually available until 1932. The door is open wide to comments. :?: :?:
