Picked this up form a friend recently. He found it in an auction and was going to resell @ another auction. I always liked old S/S guns and wanted an Ithaca since i grew up about 50 miles form the factory. The barrel has been cut (no chokes and the chambers lengthened) but at least the gap between the barrels was filled. Serial number dates it to late 1908, the first year of the Flues, as I read it. Still tight and the safety and triggers work just fine after cleaning out 100 years of crud and tightening screws. All the numbers match, original wood and butt plate.
Not a collector item, just a fun thing for show. I'll load up some nice soft loads and give her a try.
1908 Flues 12 Ga.
