I have s/n 18411 which I believe was made in 1892. A gun shop says it is Ithaca hammered double 10 gauge with barrels made of Damascus Steel. There are engravings indicating this gun is covered by patents dated 6/1/1880, 5/25/1880, and 9/18/1887. The barrels are badly rusted on the outside. Most of the metal parts have intricate etchings. I would like any more info anyone can provide and the best way to sell it. I inherited it from my father, but I am not a gun person.

Welcome to the Ithaca Owners Forum rtstover !!

Pictures are the best way for us to gauge it's overall condition...after which I will try researching the worth.

Offering it to a gun shop will bring next to nothing...Gun Broker and other auction sites will bring the most money...as true buyers of such old relics feel the need to spend their $$ on antiques for their colllections
