I recently found an old Ithaca Gun Company double barreled shotgun in my grandfather's garage. I have been unable to identify it.
Here is what is on the side near the hammers: New Ithaca Gun Company
On the barrel, it says: Ithaca Gun Co. Ithaca, NY London Twist
The serial numbers match on both the barrel and stock: 11092.
I have pictures. Any help is appreciated.
thanks!

It looks very much like my old double. Mine is a Crass hammer double with Damascus barrels 12 gauge made in 1897. Your serial number seems to be in the norecords area from 1889 to 1891. Good old gun. What are you planning in doing with it? Donald

Thank you. I am inclined to sell the gun, as I simpy don't have the time to invest in refurbishing it. |

Where do you live? Maybe someone near you would like it? Donald

New York State, Orange County. I don't even know how much it is worth. |

I live in BC Canada (West Coast) not far out of Vancouver. I bought mine about four months ago and it was in decent shape, and I paid $325 for it plus shipping to my door. It is in a shop now getting checked out and cleaned up a little. Check out the photos of it under Crass Doubles (Donald). I would buy it but your USA doesn't like selling to Canadians. Try the for sale part of this site. Donald
