I Want to buy my buddies Ithaca Hammerless 16 gauge Side by side with dual Trigger
SN 139XXX, it is stamped S16.

When it is disassembled there is an "X" or a roman numeral 10 stamped in between both barrels if your looking towards the end.

There is also the number 12 on hand grip wood furniture, it shows when taken apart.

What does the X mean?

What is the 12 for?

Is it Minier, Nig or Lefever?

Is it 1907 or early 1930's?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Welcome to the forum!
More pictures would help identify it. Show the sides of the receiver, barrel flats, the 'X' that you refer to, the '12', overall pic of the gun - The more you can show, the better. BTW, if the rest of the screws on the gun are as buggered up as that top-lever screw, I would not touch that gun.
