Thank you Sir,
Gave her a little TLC this evening, she got stripped, inspected, cleaned, and lubed. Headed out to the range with it in the morning and I'll let you know how she runs. "We live in a society of wolves. You do not fight back by creating more sheep."

Thank you Sir, and not at all.
The weight of the pistol really tames the little 9mm rounds. It's still a bit snappy shoot'n one-handed, but squared up with a sure grip it almost feels like plinkin. My only complaint is that it only came with one magazine, so I spent more time reloading than shooting. Nobody sells Checkmate or Wilson mags locally, so I didn't have a chance to pick any up before I headed out this morning. I'll have to order a half dozen or so next week. I know, there is no fun in having to constantly fill a mag when all you want to do is practice!
It looks like it would be alot of fun to shoot. Good luck with it! --Jim

very nice, LES. I'm not always a fan of aftermarket parts, but I like how they look and that checkering must make it feel like it is glued to your hand. They really fit the looks of the frame.

Thank you Sir,
I am, and always have been, a HUGE fan of wood grips especially on my 1911s. Rosewood is my weakness. The fact that I replaced the factory wood grips with these should tell you how great the VZ Grips G10 panels feel. I've never liked rubber/plastic grips on a firearm, but these feel and react just like checkered wood. They do an outstanding job with the coloration as well. I've never seen this degree of layering and patterning in a composite grip until I found VZ Grips. They look great and they feel even better. "We live in a society of wolves.
