Been doin some reseach, and the more i look the more i like it!!! The 1911 is made in Upper Sandusky Ohio! I'm near Cincy, so its just a few hours away!!! How awesome is that!

I'm really diggin the match barrel, extended beaver tail grip safety, adjustable target sights, and stainless barrel bushing! Its a fine lookin gun and I think Allison would love it!

I'm gonna start lookin into one of these and hold off on the FN P .45 for awhile! I think the 1911 grip fits her hands better anyway! ;)

I have two Springfields and a Remmington R1, I've been/was looking at the New Ruger 1911. Now Ithaca produces a1911. I'd say that is one nice looking pistol. Is it a series 70 0r 80 design? cast or forged frame?

So may great guns so little time.

Well I got to look at one exactly like the one pictured. Very nice! 1500 clams! they didn't bat an eye when they quoted the asking price. WOW! Thats some serious change for a 1911...Anyway very nice piece and very well done. Competitively priced for the custom 1911 market but not the bulk of the 1911 market which is in the of five hundred to a thousand dollar range.

Yea...it may be a little bit steep in price, but if you look at all the included "extras" like the adjustable rear sights, lowered ejection port, checkering on the front and back of the grip, skeleton hammer, adjustable trigger...and Ithaca quality...it's definitely ballpark !!

Well if there was an arched mainspring housing included with the extras then I couldn't resist. That'd make it an A1...

I sold one a little while ago and they are gorgeous in every way. the fellow I sold it to shoots matches and he tells me it is the best he ever had. Short of the original WWI vintage 1911 he has.
