This is the forearm slide tube after perma blue, however it's edges went rusted up, so I sanded it up, but no pix...

The slightly broken forend, after I sanded.
Can't even tell it's the side that's broken...
I'm much better at woodworking than metal working.....

More pix to come later. I need to put a few more coats of stain on the furniture to get it looking more the way I want it to be. I'd like it to be really dark but still able to see the grain...
Also need to figure out what to do with the blue situation....

OK, here's the entire process from start to finish. I know i posted some of them already, but I wanted to show it all at once.....
^^my granpa must have fixed it here....

^^ can't even tell it was fixed!!!!
4 coats of poly and 2 coats of ebony stain. rubbed out with 0000 steel wool.
