Because we don't seem to have a general chat area ( yet
) and I'm not sure where to post this next tiny story. I'm gonna through it in here. The whole Ithaca thing has been on my mind for a few days now. I've owned this thing for about a yr. Never thought much about it ,then I find these forums. Maybe there's a following and it's really worth something.
In the interim I have been on the lookout for a 20 Ga ( shoulder saver) semi auto shotgun. Today I stopped at one of the local pawn shops and what does the guy show me? ( after we looked at 3 autos)
But nothing less than a 37 20Ga feather light. I took a quick look at the model number and told the guy this is no spring chicken. Later looked the number up and it's a '68 model. In a we bit better shape than mine is in. He's asking 599. Which I think is a bit high,
I am open to hear what everyone else thinks about this price. Is this an omen? Ithacas coming into my life like this... Coincidence? Am I destine to start collecting these guns. Or should I just play the lottery this week?
Just thought it sort of interesting and wanted to share.
