Sadly her cancer is back, 28, but we aren't licked yet. There is another course of treatment we are going to try. We found a lesion on her back and had it biopsied, which was a good catch as that was the only evidence it returned, she is normal in every other way.

We lost our 13 year old bluetick a little while ago so it's been tough around here to say the least.

The dogs and cats that live with us are much more than pets, they are part of the family. When they are not well, we feel the hurt as well.

Out yesterday rabbit hunting with the 28 gauge Ithaca Model 37,no luck. When to five different spots.Three of them had been dogged and cleaned of rabbits. One spot showed poor sign. The other showed good sign .Did see one rabbit there, but could not get a shot at it.

Out this afternoon and bagged three rabbits with the 28 gauge Ithaca Model 37.Lots of rain and mild temperatures last night, took off most all the snow we had.Made the white rabbits stand out badly against the almost bare ground.

I haven't been hitting any public land.
at this point in the year winter finally showed up,
so my hunting is being done on a preserve.

I could have birds put out ,but instead I just scratch hunt non booked areas and at this point they aren't very cooperative
i'm only shooting one or two birds a week ,but we get out and shes having to work to find em
today she found one rooster.

2 roosters and 2 hens
we can hunt private regulated grounds after the general season ends
so I can still chase birds that others missed
at least for another week or 2 before we shut down for the year
