I currently use a Camelbak 100 oz reservoir in a Sandpiper Of California back pack.

I just got the CamelBak Linchpin today! Sux I haven't had much time to get into it yet. It has the 100 oz. water beast resevoir and I'm not certain I have found all the pockets yet... I'll try to get some info posted this weekend!

I use the CamelBak HAWG...100oz with bite tube.

Cost like $100...worth every penny !

Camelbak HAWG Hydration Backpack carries over 1280 cu. in.(20.9L) of gear and water comfortably on an Independent Suspension Harness. When the mission is extended, add a second OMEGA Reservoir to the Camelback HAWK Water Pack for another 100 ounces (3.0 L) of clean water. The Camelback H.A.W.G. Water Backpack can also work with the Camelbak Chem-Bio Reservoir (4.0) which attaches easily to Type M or Type A Gas Mask Adapters. This hydration pack lets you organize small gear, such as hand-held radio, tools, or MREs in a secure lower pocket.

Well for my bike (bicycling) riding I use a CamelBak, I think it is called the Mule, but I forget exactly. It holds 3 liters and it awesome. I've never used it hunting but I really like it for biking and hiking!

Hey Col, How does the camelback carry? I like the concept, but the older I get, the more weight I want to shed when I go out.

Raven, it is a backpack type setup. I wouldn't use it for hunting personally. We normally just carry a jug of water in the truck. Most of our hunting is just hunting a spot here and there. We're back to the truck every couple of hours our so.

I'm the same way Col. work an area, move on. I do keep a 10 liter jug in the truck. Mostly for the dogs, since they do most of the work!

Seems like the consensus is Camelbak, good to know. The meds I take dry me out like a mummy... go through 1.5-2 gallons of water a day. :o
